Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have made a bid for Yunus Musah, a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool also want to sign from Valencia, according to FC Inter News.

The Italian news outlet has claimed that Inter Milan want to sign Musah, but so do Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s side have reportedly made an offer for the USA international midfielder, but Valencia have turned it down as it is too low.

The report has suggested that Valencia could cash in on the 20-year-old, who starred for the USA at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, if they get a better offer.

This report in FC Inter News comes just days after former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool were linked with a move for the youngster, who was on the books of Arsenal from 2012 until 2019 before he made the move to La Liga club Valencia.

Earlier this week, 90min reported that Liverpool and Chelsea have made contact with Musah’s representatives to register their interest in a transfer.

Could Arsenal or Liverpool sign Yunus Musah?

In our opinion, Liverpool or Arsenal could be able to sign Yunus Musah from Valencia in the January transfer window if they make a good offer.

Yes, Valencia are a big club, but Los Che could be tempted to cash in on the 20-year-old while his stock is high.

Described as “a talented player” by former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere in The Sun last month, the USA international himself could be tempted to return to Arsenal and help in their quest to win the Premier League title this season or move to Liverpool and attempt to win the UEFA Champions League.
