Rangers are reportedly keen on luring Louis Moult to Ibrox.

According to The Sun, Rangers are keeping tabs on the situation of Preston North End striker Louis Moult ahead of the summer transfer window.
Rangers may have tied Alfredo Morelos down to a new contract and lured Jason Cummings to Ibrox in January, but it seems that another striker is still on the wish list.
Despite only heading to Preston in January, striker Moult is now believed to be a target for Rangers once again, after he suggested to The Scottish Sun that he snubbed a January move to Ibrox.

Graeme Murty’s men are allegedly weighing up a new move for Moult at the end of the season, though it remains to be seen whether Preston would sell so soon after signing him.
Deepdale exit seems unlikely
Moult, 25, was a sensation in Scottish football with Motherwell, as he notched 50 goals in 98 games for the club following a 2015 move from Wrexham.
The striker, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the season, moved on to Preston in January, but has yet to score for Alex Neil’s side.

Moult has started just three games for the Lilywhites since his move, and whilst that may suggest a struggle, there are mitigating factors in his slow start to life at Deepdale.
Moult arrived at Deepdale with a hamstring injury which he had to recover from, and whilst Jordan Hugill left the club on deadline day in January, Callum Robinson stepped up in a striking role.
Sean Maguire’s prolific return has also damaged Moult’s playing time, whilst he missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Fulham through injury. Having fought to sign Moult in January, it seems unlikely that Preston would let him go so quickly – but Rangers may be hoping to test their resolve this summer.
