According to Sporx, Norwich have submitted a €3m (£2.6m) bid for Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne, following links to Crystal Palace.
What’s the story?
Well, the Turkish news outlet believe Daniel Farke’s side have made a move for the 29-year-old, although Galatasaray have rejected the bid.
Diagne made 16 Premier League appearances while on loan at West Brom last season, scoring three goals and recording two assists.
Sporx claim that Galatasaray were willing to sell the 11-cap Senegal international for €5m (£4.3m) this summer.
However, after Diagne scored three goals in the first four games of the season, the Turkish giants now want to keep him.
Norwich lost to Liverpool in their first Premier League game of the season, and Farke clearly feels he needs more firepower in attack.
Will Crystal Palace react to Norwich’s bid?

After seeing the Canaries make a move for Diagne, it will be interesting to see if Crystal Palace react.
Earlier this summer, Sky Sports revealed that the Eagles were interested in signing the forward, while Brighton were also keen.
The Telegraph have claimed that Patrick Vieira is desperate to add a striker to his squad before the transfer window ends.

Yes, Galatasaray have supposedly decided to keep Diagne for now, but every player has their price – Diagne should still be obtainable, in our view.
Keep an eye on this saga, as it could – presumably – be one the south Londoners do on deadline day if they fail to sign other targets.
