According to Estadio Deportivo, AC Milan are now keen to sign Leeds target Ben Brereton Diaz after pinching Charles De Ketelaere from Jesse Marsch.
It was the Daily Mail who claimed that Leeds actually submitted a £31m bid for the Belgium international, although he wanted to join AC Milan instead, and a £29m deal was struck with Club Brugge.
Now, the Italian giants could frustrate Leeds even more in the transfer market.
AC Milan want Leeds target Ben Brereton Diaz
Well, we aren’t sure if a player has even moved from Blackburn to AC Milan, but it could happen in 2023.
Estadio Deportivo believe AC Milan are closely following the Chile international as his contract at Ewood Park expires in July.

The Spanish news outlet mention that Leeds are interested in Diaz, while it is also said that Everton, Valencia and Sevilla are keen to secure his signature.
Last season, the Blackburn No.22 put his name up in lights when scoring 22 goals in 37 Championship appearances, and he has continued his fine form with seven goals in 14 league outings so far this term.
Leeds could lose out to AC Milan again
In our view, history could be about to repeat itself.
Leeds were made aware of AC Milan’s pull when losing out on De Ketelaere despite offering Club Brugge more money, and we feel the champions of Italy are about to upset Marsch once again.
Of course, Leeds are also a massive club, but AC Milan can offer Diaz Champions League football, which would be a huge thing for him – seeing as the Championship is the highest level he has played at so far in his career.
The man born in Stoke-on-Trent is also an adventurous character who isn’t afraid to take a step into the unknown, as seen when he jumped at the opportunity to represent Chile – he was eligible thanks to his mother.
He would surely have no qualms about moving to Italy in that respect.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, with Diaz set to become a free agent in July.
