West Ham United will let Newcastle United target leave the club.
The Daily Mail has reported that Newcastle United target Adrian is free to leave West Ham United, in spite of Darren Randolph’s imminent departure.
Randolph is on the brink of sealing a £4.5 million switch to Middlesbrough in the Championship.
If and when that move materialises, Adrian will be Joe Hart’s back-up for West Ham but, according to The Mail, the 30-year-old is allowed to leave.
The Mirror reported this past week that Newcastle are among those monitoring the Spanish goalkeeper and their hopes of signing could be boosted now.
The Magpies are in the market for a keeper after letting Matz Sels and Freddie Woodman leave on loan, while Karl Darlow’s future in the North East is in doubt.
Adrian joined West Ham under Sam Allardyce in 2013 and has since made 106 Premier League appearances, though Randolph was Slaven Bilic’s number one for the Hammers for most of last season.
