Adam Hammill is ready to quit Barnsley this summer with Perth Glory keen on the winger, according to the Sun.

Hammill’s Barnsley contract expires at the end of the campaign and it’s claimed he could be set for a move to Australia, provided Perth can ‘agree personal terms’.

The 30-year-old is in his second spell at Oakwell, which began with promotion back to the Championship.

And it could end in relegation back to League One, should final day results conspire against the Tykes, who travel to play-off chasing Derby County.

Hammill has scored or created 54 goals in 197 games for Barnsley, although he has only been involved directly in three this season, according to Transfermarkt.

His former Wolverhampton Wanderers teammate Andy Keogh is currently on Perth’s books, along with Joe Mills, the younger brother of Barnsley defender, Matt.

Would losing Hammill be a blow for Barnsley?
