AC Milan are reportedly hoping that they can convince Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino to make the move to San Siro.

According to a report from the Daily Mirror, AC Milan plan to offer Mauricio Pochettino a transfer budget of £300 million as they ambitiously attempt to try and convince the Tottenham boss to leave his current post.
In what would surely be one of the most surprising managerial moves in recent times, the Rossoneri are hoping that they may be able to lure Pochettino away from Spurs, with former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis at the helm at San Siro.
The Daily Mirror reports that Gennaro Gattuso is set to be given the boot at the end of the season, with Milan currently fourth in the table, 32 points behind league leaders Juventus.
The report adds that Gazidis hopes that Pochettino can be convinced to leave Spurs this summer with the prospect of having a £300 million warchest for the upcoming transfer window waiting for him in Italy.

It would be a huge shock if Pochettino had any serious interest in swapping Tottenham for Milan. Spurs are heading into a seriously exciting chapter in their history with their stunning new stadium now open.
He may have some frustrations with a couple of things at Spurs perhaps, but it would be difficult to understand why he would want to swap his current job for a role at Milan – even with the carrot of a £300 million transfer kitty being dangled in front of him.
