According to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan have made an enquiry for reported Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion summer target Adolfo Gaich.

The Argentine striker has been linked with a move to Europe this summer.

A recent report by TYC Sports claims West Brom are keen on the 6ft 3inch target man as both Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore struggle to make an impact at the Hawthorns.

Leeds United, meanwhile, have been linked in a report by PassioneInter.

But the current Championship top two face strong competition for his signature.

The latest reports from Italy say Milan target Gaich as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic re-joined Milan on a short-term deal. But the Italian club are keen to head in another direction, bringing in top youngsters and developing them at the San Siro.

Who is Adolfo Gaich?

San Lorenzo’s Gaich is regarded as one of the club’s brightest sparks. He is a physical, all-action type striker dubbed ‘the Tank’ in his native Argentina.

Gaich’s contract expires in 2021. He has a £12 million release clause, and it appears San Lorenzo would prefer to cash in on him rather than risk losing him for nothing next year.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa could be a huge pull for the player.

The Whites are also on the verge of a long-awaited return to the Premier League, and surely the Yorkshire club would like to improve on the inconsistent Patrick Bamford.

West Brom, on the other hand, may also have Premier League football to offer.

Gaich’s physical style could be a big hit in England. However, the lure of Milan is growing, and their latest reported enquiry suggests they are pushing for his signature.
