According to Tuttosport, AC Milan are considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva.
The Brazilian midfielder had been expected to leave the Reds this summer in the search for regular first-team football.
He did feature under Jurgen Klopp last season, but found himself down the pecking order behind the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Emre Can.

With Georginio Wijnaldum and Marko Grujic also added to the squad this summer, he is likely to find it even harder to get into the German’s starting XI.
He has since been linked with several clubs across Europe, although up to this point a move away has not materialised.

And it appears that another club have joined the list of suitors, with Tuttosport claiming that AC Milan are considering a move.
According to the Italian newspaper, they are looking for a midfielder who can play in front of the defence, but crucially he must have European passport.
Lucas ticks all of those boxes because he owns an Italian passport, and with just a year left on his deal at Anfield he could be available on the cheap.
