According to Tuttomercatoweb, Everton face a battle with AC Milan for the signature of Roma winger Cengiz Under this summer.

It’s claimed that Roma have ‘made it known’ that they are ready to sell Under. They allegedly intend to listen to offers because they have Chelsea winger Pedro coming in.

Under will likely be sold, and clubs are now lining up for his signature. Everton are one of them, having been linked with him for some time now.

However, Milan are thought to be in the race too, as he’s a target for incoming head coach and sporting director Ralf Rangnick as he prepares to make the move to the San Siro.

Rangnick is thought to be close to Under’s agent, Fali Ramadani. That may just give Milan an edge, especially as it would allow Under to stay in Italy.

Everton have allegedly requestion information on a deal for Under, but could now face major competition from Ancelotti’s former club Milan.

The 22-year-old has hit three goals in 15 games this season, struggling to hit top form under Paulo Fonseca. However, he showed his quality last term, notching six goals and 10 assists to make himself a real sensation in Italy.

A right-sided winger who loves to cut inside onto his left foot, Under fits what Everton need on that flank – and will now have to beat Milan to a deal.
