According to reports from the Evening Express, Aberdeen have made the first move to sign Celtic winger Gary Mackay-Steven.
Although the Dons manager, Derek McInnes, didn’t explicitly comment about the transfer speculation, the Evening Express reports that the former Liverpool and Dundee United winger is on his wish-list for the summer.
The report suggests that McInnes has already held talks with the Scotland winger about the possibility of a move to Pittodrie.
Mackay-Steven still has two years left on his Parkhead contract. The Dons could be looking to sign him either on loan or on a permanent basis from Celtic.

The 26-year-old missed the start of the season through injury, and found his first-team opportunities limited to only 11 appearances this season.
Aberdeen finished second in the Scottish Premier League behind Celtic, and the Dons manager is looking to revamp the squad in the summer.
This has already been a busy summer for the Dons. They have already signed Greg Tansey on a pre-contract from Inverness, and are close to agreeing a deal for Shaun Maloney.
Aberdeen are likely to lose skipper Ryan Jack, who has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
