Albian Ajeti had concerns about moving to Celtic, but they have now eased, according to the Daily Record.

Celtic are believed to be closing in on a deal to sign the West Ham United forward, who will join on loan for a year.

Ajeti, who once moved to West Ham for £8 million (Daily Record), should bolster Neil Lennon’s options up-front for the coming campaign.

His addition has not been the most simple of transfer moves though, as Ajeti has taken some persuading to come to Scotland.

Ajeti initially feared that he wouldn’t play for Celtic, as Odsonne Edouard is the club’s main man up-top.

Edouard has scored prolifically for Celtic over a number of seasons now, and if he stays at Parkhead, he will remain their first name of the teamsheet.

Lennon seems to have been able to persuade Ajeti that he will get enough game time at Celtic to satisfy his demands though.

And the deal is now expected to go through in the very near future.

A move to Celtic could be ideal for the striker, as he has struggled badly since a move to West Ham.

Ajeti has barely played for the Hammers, and he will now arrive at Celtic with a point to prove.
