Celtic target Albian Ajeti has been put up for sale by West Ham United, with David Moyes planning to make a move for Said Benrahma, the Daily Mirror report

Celtic have been heavily linked with the West Ham misfit in the Daily Record recently, with Neil Lennon’s men said to be keen to strike a loan deal.

But West Ham are seemingly keen on raising funds for the Swiss forward, who has struggled to make any sort of impact since his move to the London Stadium.

West Ham want to buy Benrahma, who would be an exciting addition after his excellent season at Championship level, but realise that they will have to sell to buy this summer.

Celtic may, therefore, be forced into purchasing Ajeti if they are to make a move for the forward.

Whether the Bhoys would want to finance what looks to be a risky move for an out of form striker remains to be seen.

Ajeti simply hasn’t looked up to the quality required in the Premier League, but his form previously at Basel does offer Celtic some hope that the £8 million forward (Mirror) may be able to refind the goalscoring touch north of the border.

West Ham, meanwhile, are also believed to be willing to offload Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko as Moyes looks to have a clear-out of his unwanted talent.
