Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool released Divock Origi last summer, and it seems that he could return to the Premier League and play for David Moyes’s West Ham United.
According to MilanNews24, West Ham United are interested in signing former Liverpool striker Divock Origi from AC Milan in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are trying to convince the £87,000-a-week (Salary Sport) striker to move to London Stadium, and the Belgium international and his agent are “reflecting” on a potential transfer to the London club, according to the report.
Should West Ham United sign former Liverpool striker Divock Origi?
In our view, West Ham United should look at someone better than former Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
Yes, the Belgian won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool and is a cult hero among the Anfield faithful, but he is simply not prolific.

During his spell in the Premier League, Origi scored 22 goals and gave six assists in 107 appearances.
Now, you could argue that the striker did not always start matches for Liverpool, but then you would have to ask why he did not.
At Liverpool, Origi was a squad player.
And he has not done particularly well at AC Milan since his move to the Italian club on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
The 28-year-old made 10 starts and 17 substitute appearances in Serie A for Milan last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
