It seems like the pendulum that is Jadon Sancho’s future might be swinging back in Liverpool’s favour.
Liverpool have long been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund winger.
But in recent months, Manchester United and Chelsea have found themselves leading Jurgen Klopp’s side in the race to sign him.
But with the latter set to sign Timo Werner, and United’s Champions League qualification prospects hanging in the balance, the Reds are now favourites to get him again.
According to The Independent, Sancho, who Dortmund want £80 million for, would prefer a move to Liverpool over the Old Trafford club in something that’ll delight the Anfield faithful, given the rivalry.
The report adds that Klopp has personally spoken to the 20-year-old and promised that he’d make room for him on Merseyside, with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah representing intimidating competition for any wide player coming into the club.
This season, the London-born winger has managed 20 goals and 20 assists from 39 games across all competitions which, for someone who isn’t an out-and-out striker, is a stunning return.
