According to The Athletic, Luka Milivojevic was booed by Crystal Palace supporters at the end-of-season awards night, and could now leave the Premier League side.
What’s the story?
Well, this is extremely disappointing news coming from Selhurst Park.
The Athletic believe Milivojevic suffered jeers from a section of the Crystal Palace support at Croydon’s Boxpark, where the ceremony was held.
Of course, a large portion of the Eagles fanbase on Twitter have regularly expressed their discontent with the Serbian’s performances this season.
However, their dissatisfaction has always been exclusive to social media – until the awards evening, in which it unfortunately boiled over.
It comes after the £80,000-a-week man has struggled to impose himself under Patrick Vieira, making just nine Premier League starts all season.
The likes of James McArthur, Will Hughes, Cheikhou Kouyate, Jeffrey Schlupp, Conor Gallagher and Eberechi Eze have all been preferred to the 31-year-old.
Crystal Palace fans owe Luka Milivojevic an apology

Whoever booed the £12m man at Croydon’s Boxpark does not deserve to call themselves a Crystal Palace fan.
Milivojevic lost his father during pre-season, which obviously disrupted his preparations for the next campaign.
Under a new manager, and with a totally different playing style, it was not a pre-season to be absent – after missing out on some of the buildup to the campaign, it was no surprise to see Milivojevic struggle to nail down a regular starting role.

Now, he could even leave, following five years of service in south London.
The Athletic state that Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure is in Vieira’s sights, and with Milivojevic’s contract expiring in June 2023, he could be sold if a decent offer arrives.
Things certainly haven’t been easy for the Crystal Palace No.4 this season, and we believe the small portion of supporters who booed him should take a long, hard look at themselves.
