Lucas Torreira wants to leave Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window and is keen on a move to Lazio, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has reported on his website that Torreira does not want to play for Arsenal again and is keen on staying in Italy.
The 26-year-old Uruguay international midfielder spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Fiorentina from Arsenal.
With a permanent transfer to Fiorentina not happening, Torreira has been offered again to Lazio, according to Pedulla, who has added that the midfielder offered himself to the Italian club last summer.
Arsenal exit for Lucas Torreira inevitable
In our view, it is only a matter of time before Lucas Torreira leaves Arsenal for good.
We do not see any future for the £75,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder at the Emirates Stadium.

Torreira spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Atletico Madrid from Arsenal and was on loan at Fiorentina last season.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta clearly does not consider Torreira in his plans.
Torreira has scored three goals and created three big chances in 63 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
