Tottenham Hotspur are heavily linked with the Portuguese midfielder.

The Daily Mail has claimed that Bruno Fernandes has asked Sporting Lisbon to let him join Tottenham Hotspur.
There is less than a week left in the summer transfer window and Spurs have only signed the one first-team player so far – Tanguy Ndombele.
Record in Portugal reported this week that Tottenham have seen a £58 million bid for Fernandes rejected by Sporting.
But according to The Daily Mail, the 24-year-old is desperate to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side and wants his club to let the transfer happen.
The report adds that Sporting value the midfielder – who scored 31 goals last season – at around £64 million.
The pressure is on Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy to get it done.
With only five days left in the window, time is of the essence for Tottenham who also have other logs on the fire.
The North Londoners also want Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso and, considering Levy’s reputation for being a tough negotiator, is it enough time to complete all three deals?
Only time will tell.
