According to The London Evening Standard, Rafael Benitez is willing to take charge of Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle United manager Benitez would consider an approach from Tottenham, according to the report.
This report in The London Evening Standard comes just days after The Daily Mail claimed that Tottenham are considering the 61-year-old Spaniard to become their new full-time manager.
Jose Mourinho was sacked as the Spurs first-team head coach just before the Carabao Cup final, with Ryan Mason placed in charge of the side until the end of the season.
Rafael Benitez to Tottenham Hotspur?
Benitez is without a managerial job at the moment, having left Chinese club Dalian Professional in January.
The 61-year-old is a very experienced manager who has been in charge of Valencia, Chelsea (interim-manager), Real Madrid, Liverpool and Newcastle among other clubs.
Benitez knows the Premier League inside out and does not need world-class players to work with.

There is little surprise that the Spaniard reportedly wants to manage Spurs, but he is a defensive-minded manager and may not be very popular among the fans.
Spurs fans are used to watching lovely attacking football under now former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
One of the reasons why Tottenham fans got frustrated when Mourinho was the manager was the caution-first approach of the team.
Benitez is a successful manager and could do great things at Spurs if given time, but his football may not sit well with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful.
