It looks like Adama Traore to Liverpool is growing more realistic everyday, going by media reports.
It was reported last week that the Reds were preparing a £60 million swoop for the Wolverhampton Wanderers and Spain Under-21 winger.
The 24-year-old speed demon has scored four and set up seven goals in 28 Premier League appearances this season.
And according to Todofichajes in Spain, Liverpool are now in ‘advanced talks’ to bring the former Barcelona youth to Anfield.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp has personally spoken to Traore about what sort of role he’d have on Merseyside.
Thing is, £60 million is a hell of a lot of money in this day and age, with every club around Europe getting hammered financially by a loss of match-day revenue.
And do Liverpool even need him? Well, it’s debatable, given that Klopp has Sadio Mane and Mo Salah for now, though the former has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Still, it’s very hard to see the Premier League champions elect coughing up that sum for Traore, it has to be said.
