Nelson is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2023, but, according to The Daily Mail, the youngster has decided to put pen to paper on a new deal.
The £60,000-a-week winger will get a significant pay-rise and will sign a new four-year contract, according to the report.
Is Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson making a mistake?
In our view, Reiss Nelson could end up regretting his decision to sign a new contract with Arsenal.

The 23-year-old is a very good and promising winger, and he needs to play regularly to enhance his career and become better.
There is no point in Nelson staying at Arsenal and warming the bench.
True, there were injury problems this season, but the English winger would still have struggled to play regularly for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The winger made 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.
Nelson scored three goals and gave two assists in those matches.
The Arsenal no. 24 made four starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League and gave one assist in one Carabao Cup tie this campaign.
