Liverpool right-back Neco Williams is on the radar of as many as six clubs, according to TEAMtalk.

Norwich City, Burnley, Stoke City, Barnsley, Swansea City and Cardiff City all are reported to be keen on signing Willians on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window and have asked about him.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is claimed to be a huge fan of the right-back, but the former Premier League champions are considering whether to send the 20-year-old Wales international out on loan.

Neco Williams out on loan?

A loan move away from Liverpool to a club in the Premier League would be beneficial to Williams.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the first-choice right-back at Liverpool and is one of the best in the world in his position.

That is not going to change anytime soon, and Williams would struggle for playing time at Liverpool next season.

The 20-year-old has played 10 times for Wales and is part of their Euro 2020 finals squad.

Coming back to Liverpool from the tournament and then warming the substitutes’ bench is not going to help Williams in his development as a footballer.

Described by Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson as an “amazing” player who has “got so much ability and so much energy” on the club’s official website in July 2020, Williams would benefit from playing regular first-team football next season.
