Queens Park Rangers defender Ryan Manning is a deadline-day target for Championship rivals Swansea City, according to Wales Online.
Jake Bidwell might have started this season like peak-era Roberto Carlos, tearing down the wing at a rate of knots for a Swans side that has won three out of four so far.
But his electrifying displays haven’t prevented Steve Cooper’s promotion-chasing team from targeting another left-back who has built an impressive reputation in the second tier of English football.
Wales Online reports Manning has been on Swansea’s radar throughout the transfer window.
And there’s still time for a deal to be sealed before today’s 5pm deadline.

The Irishman is highly rated at Loftus Road but, with his contract due to expire in July, QPR may be tempted to cash in to avoid losing him for free.
According to the Daily Star, Manning is valued at £5 million.
The versatile 24-year-old, who can play in central midfield as well as on the left, is also a target for a Watford side that has been linked with what feels like an endless supply of left-backs but to no avail so far (Watford Observer).
