According to Calciomercato, Juventus are now interested in a move for Harry Kane after Massimiliano Allegri requested a new striker.
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe that Allegri is hoping to sign a new frontman, and has shortlisted Kane as an option.
Gabriel Jesus, Edin Dzeko, Arkadiusz Milik and Dušan Vlahović are also options for the Italian giants.
Calciomercato add that Daniel Levy is asking for €150 million (£129 million), and describe the Tottenham owner as someone who is always an obstacle.
The report also mentions that Kane would prefer to stay in England as Manchester United and Manchester City circle.
Could Allegri annoy Levy even more?
Presumably, Allegri left Levy pretty annoyed recently.
The 53-year-old snubbed Tottenham despite holding talks with the north Londoners, as he preferred to wait for an approach from Real Madrid.
Eventually, he didn’t even join the Spanish giants, and settled on a return to Juventus after Andrea Pirlo was sacked.
That potentially left Levy annoyed, as the Spurs supremo ultimately wasted his time talking to the Italian.
Now, Allegri is seemingly plotting to infuriate Levy one more time by swooping for Tottenham’s talisman.
It’s quite cheeky of Allegri to reject Spurs, and then come in for their best player, but that’s the nature of football – it’s a dog-eat-dog world.
If Juventus really do want Kane, Allegri hasn’t exactly put himself in the best position to tempt Levy into selling after rejecting his advances.
Only time will tell what happens in regards to Kane’s future.
