According to the Express, Pedro Martins is keen to interview for the Wolves vacancy after turning down Hull City.
Pedro Martins wants Wolves job
Well, it seemed as if the 52-year-old was going to take the reins at the MKM Stadium after verbally agreeing to replace Shota Arveladze.
However, the Tigers have now admitted in a club statement that they were unable to meet the Portuguese coach’s demands, and negotiations have collapsed.
Martins has now flown back to Portugal, although sources have told the Express that he hopes to speak with Wolves about replacing Bruno Lage at Molineux.
Julen Lopetegui remains the favourite to succeed Lage, with Sky Sports claiming that Wolves have made the Spaniard their No.1 target.

That rumour intensified on Wednesday night as the 56-year-old was sacked by Sevilla.
Martins won three consecutive Greek Super League titles with Olympiakos before he was sacked earlier this season, following a humiliating defeat to Maccabi Haifa in Champions League qualifying.
Wolves should speak to Pedro Martins
While Fosun will hope to make a quick appointment with five crucial Premier League games on the schedule this month, they must ensure they get it right – Wolves cannot afford a second managerial change this term.
Interestingly, The Times believe Martins was considered by Newcastle before Eddie Howe was hired, which suggests Premier League sides believe he can compete in English football.
Lopetegui boasts a fine CV having managed Spain and Real Madrid, although Wolves should not be so quick to hire him without talking to Martins first, given the fact he has just left Sevilla 17th in La Liga.
Of course, Martins has questions to answer having also received a P45 of his own just a few weeks ago, but his desire to be interviewed should be acknowledged due to his impressive CV.
Keep an eye on this saga, as we feel Wolves will make a decision soon.
