According to The Telegraph, James Tarkowski is expected to join Leicester this week.
The BBC reported that Brendan Rodgers’ side had a bid worth £30 million rejected for the ex-Brentford man, and were prepared to include add-ons in any potential deal.
The Foxes’ offer for the Burnley captain comes after West Ham saw three bids rejected for the centre-back, the last of which was worth £31 million according to Sky Sports.
Despite the Hammers’ best efforts though, it now seems like high-flying Leicester will get their hands on the man who earns £50,000-a-week at Turf Moor, as Spotrac states.
Rodgers’ men have enjoyed a stunning start to the campaign.

They have won their first three Premier League games, most recently dishing out a 5-2 hammering to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
If Leicester needed improving in one area however, it would be at centre-back.
Central midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was forced to deputise at centre-back for the Foxes’ first two games, but he is now facing several weeks out with an adductor injury.

Against City, Jonny Evans partnered Çağlar Söyüncü but was forced to leave the field through injury.
Wes Morgan is available to Rodgers, although the ex-Nottingham Forest man is arguably past his best at 36 years of age.
The Tarkowski saga has been one of the most active this window, but if The Telegraph are to be believed, it will come to an end this week with West Ham missing out.
