West Bromwich Albion striker Kenneth Zohore is keen on securing a move to Sheffield Wednesday before Friday’s transfer deadline, according to the Birmingham Mail.
And who can blame him, really?
You might not find many players willing to drop down from the Premier League to the Championship just weeks after being promoted to the top flight.
But Zohore is under no illusions that, if he wants to feature regularly in 2020/21, he has no choice but to push for a move away from The Hawthorns over the next few days.
The £8 million Dane made just five starts under Slaven Bilic last term and has not even been included in the matchday squad since West Brom secured promotion back to the Big Time.
So, to be honest, leaving the Baggies before Friday, either on loan or on a permanent basis, should not be a difficult decision.

The Birmingham Mail reports that Sheffield Wednesday are interested and Garry Monk’s superb track record when it comes to getting the best out of classic number nines like Zohore certainly bodes well.
Steven Fletcher, Britt Assombalonga, Chris Wood and Wilfried Bony played perhaps the best football of their career under Monk.
The Sun (27 September, page 61) reports that Wednesday have offered to pay half of Zohore’s £50,000-a-week wages on a year-long loan deal.
Derby County have also shown an interest and could be tempted to step up their pursuit after their move for another West Brom man, Charlie Austin, hit the buffers.
