Liverpool’s seldom-seen striker Divock Origi has been offered to Inter Milan and would be tempted by the idea of swapping the Anfield bench for Antonio Conte’s Serie A leaders, as reported by Calciomercato.
Of course, the Belgium international would be far from guaranteed first-team football at the San Siro either.
In Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, Inter Milan can boast perhaps the most fearsome strike partnership in world football right now. And, according to Calciomercato, Origi would be little more than a back-up option at the Nerazzurri – pretty much the same role he has at Liverpool.
Nonetheless, the report claims the long-serving forward is destined to depart in the summer transfer window.
Origi has apparently been offered to Inter, with sporting director Piero Ausilio and chief executive Beppe Marotta made aware of his availability. The 25-year-old, meanwhile, is interested in the prospect of testing himself in Italy after spells in Belgium, France, Germany and England.

Origi will forever have a place in Liverpool folklore.
But while the former Lille youngster has produced some truly massive moments for the Merseyside giants – those dramatic strikes against Everton, Barcelona and Tottenham will live long in the memory – a lack of consistency continues to hold him back.
Despite Roberto Firmino’s poor form and the injuries suffered by Diogo Jota, Origi has been handed just two Premier League starts by Jurgen Klopp in 2020/21.
CM suggests Origi’s £50,000-a-week wages should be affordable for an admittedly cash-strapped Inter Milan side.
