Manchester City youngster Morgan Rogers is reportedly being eyed by as many as five clubs as the forward prepares to head out on loan to another team.
According to the Daily Mail, the 19-year-old winger is set to have his spell with AFC Bournemouth cut short, with City now likely to miss out on as much as £15m for the teenager attacker.
As per the report, the Cherries’ loan deal came with an option to buy the promising wide-player at the end of the season for an initial £12m and £3m in add-ons. However, Rogers, heading back to City will void this deal.
With Rogers hardly playing for Scott Parker’s side, the England youth international will likely join a club on loan where regular minutes are expected. As per the Daily Mail, Blackpool, Huddersfield Town and Swansea City are keen on Rogers, as well as Aberdeen and Belgian side Oostende.
After a successful loan spell with Lincoln City in 2020/21, with Imps manager Michael Appleton labelling the winger as ‘outstanding’ via Lincolnshire Live, Rogers’ campaign this time around has been one to forget.
Moreover, with the youngster yet to never play for the City first-team under Pep Guardiola, Rogers needs to ensure that his next loan move can catch the eye of the Catalan coach.
Rogers needs to show quality on loan if he’s to have City future

Rogers is one of many City talents from the academy that have the potential to be real superstars in football. However, his loan spell with Bournemouth has been nothing short of a disaster. And the youngster’s next move must be the one where the winger explodes onto the scene.
Indeed, Rogers has shown with Lincoln that he has the talent to compete in a good squad. And with some solid clubs chasing his signature on loan, the youngster will have to grasp this opportunity with both hands in the second half of the season.
