
Mauricio Pochettino has told friends that he wants the Tottenham Hotspur job, The Sun claim.
In a dramatic report, which broke last night, it is claimed that Pochettino would be very open to a return to Tottenham.
The Argentine apparently is unhappy at PSG and feels he has unfinished business back at Spurs.
Daniel Levy is now seriously considering appointing the 49-year-old, in what would be a major shock.
Pochettino has always suggested that he would like to return to Tottenham at some stage, but a return just over 18 months after he departed would be a surprise.
If Pochettino was to come back to Spurs he would be inheriting a squad which isn’t in as good a position as he left it.
Tottenham’s main man, Harry Kane, may not stay, while many key players from his first stint are either out of form or ageing.

Spurs have badly disappointed this term, and there is a feeling that a rebuild is needed at the North London side.
But Pochettino’s return would surely unite the fans, who were largely against his departure in the first place.
And the claims that he has told friends that he would come back to Tottenham adds an extra layer of intrigue into the search for Spurs’ new boss.
