Everton are reportedly battling PSG and AC Milan to sign Ajax’s Eredivisie leader and Champions League semi-finalist David Neres.

Everton target David Neres is attempting to learn English as he prepares for a move to the Premier League this summer, as reported by UOL Esporte.
The former Sao Paulo starlet has taken his game to a whole new level in 2019, firing Ajax to the top of the Eredivisie table and into the semi-finals of the Champions League with 12 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.
And, like Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt and co, Neres is expected to be rewarded with a big money move at the end of the season.
UOL claims that PSG and AC Milan want the Brazil international, who is valued at around £43 million, but Everton have a clear advantage on two of Europe’s biggest sides.

The report adds that Neres is dreaming of a move to the Premier League and is even taking English lessons in preparation. The reason, UOL believes, is that his girlfriend lives in London.
Everton will face plenty of competition, however, with The Telegraph reporting recently that Arsenal have held talks with Neres recently. The Gunners, in case it escaped your attention, are London-based.
