Lee Charnley will be leaving Newcastle United with Steve Bruce, 90 Mins report.
Charnley and Bruce out?
Earlier in the week it was claimed that Newcastle’s new owners could hand Charnley an opportunity to stay in his role.
However, it turns out that the Magpies won’t be keeping their managing director at the club for too much longer.
Newcastle are expected to part company with both Bruce and Charnley in the coming days, according to the latest update.
Charnley has been at Newcastle for over two decades now, but the 42-year-old’s time at the club appears to be coming to an end.
Big changes ahead
That signals part of a big shake-up at Newcastle following their takeover.
The Magpies’ new owners are yet to really put their stamp on things, with all of Newcastle’s current staff members still employed.

But it seems that the changes could come quite quickly in the coming days and weeks.
It is not yet known who will replace Charnley or Bruce for that matter, but both jobs at Newcastle are now hugely appealing, and will surely receive plenty of applications.
