According to La Razon, Diego Martinez has taken some significant steps in his pursuit of one day replacing Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds.
What’s the story?
Well, the 40-year-old seems desperate to work at Elland Road, with Bielsa possibly leaving Leeds at the end of the season according to La Razon.
Martinez is believed to have moved to England, where he is taking English lessons in a bid to prepare for a potential Premier League opportunity.
According to La Razon, Victor Orta has been left impressed by these steps, and would endorse the Spaniard as a replacement for Bielsa.
Martinez is currently unemployed after leaving Granada earlier this year.
By the looks of it, he is working hard in his time away from management to be prepared for life in England, should a chance present itself.
Should Diego Martinez replace Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds?

Bielsa is a God in Yorkshire, and should be able to leave on his own terms.
However, if he does decide to call it a day at Leeds this summer, Martinez would be a fantastic option to replace him.
We admire the Spaniard’s determination in moving to England, and he’s clearly committed to becoming a success in the Premier League.
Martinez worked miracles at Granada, taking them from the Spanish second division into La Liga, where he achieved consecutive top-half finishes.

Amazingly, he also led Granada to the Copa del Rey semi-final, and the quarter-final of the Europa League where he was beaten by Manchester United.
Martinez is a bright, young coach, with a track record which should excite Leeds fans if he does end up replacing Bielsa one day.
