Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the January transfer window, but the striker himself does not fancy a move to the Emirates Stadium or to Villa Park right now, according to LaRoma24.it.
Tammy Abraham’s stance on Arsenal and Aston Villa
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that both Arsenal and Villa are interested in signing the former Chelsea striker from Roma in the middle of the season.
The Gunners and the Villans are convinced that bringing the England international striker back to the Premier League would be a winning operation.
However, the striker himself wants to stay at Roma and recover his form, according to the report.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals and given one assist in Serie A and has scored one goal in the UEFA Europa League for Roma so far this season.

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Arsenal are more likely than Aston Villa to be able to sign Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the January transfer window.
We do not think that the £34 million (SkySports) striker will leave a top-four chasing Serie A side for a Premier League club who are unlikely to even finish in the top 10.
Now, Arsenal could be a different matter.
Gabriel Jesus is injured at the moment, and if Arsenal are able to tempt Roma with a good offer, then they could well be able to convince Abraham to move to the Emirates Stadium and help in their quest to win the Premier League title this season.
