Red Bull Salzburg star Enock Mwepu is a lifelong Liverpool supporter, according to liverpool.com.
Mwepu has been linked with Liverpool recently, after Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch said that he would be suited to the Reds’ system.
“Liverpool have the money where they can get these players and you could extend it to other players like Hwang and Mwepu,” Marsch said to the Liverpool Echo, after Jurgen Klopp’s side bought Takumi Minamino from the Austrian outfit.
It now turns out that a move to Anfield could really appeal for Mwepu, if Liverpool do come in for him.
The Zambian has reportedly grown up supporting the Reds, and he is sure to have been delighted but he success that Klopp’s men have had this season.

Mwepu is an energetic midfielder, who could actually be ideal for what Liverpool need.
Despite the Reds dominance of the Premier League this term there is a feeling that another central midfielder may need to be bought to really strengthen in that area.
Mwepu has caught the eye in a Salzburg shirt and is now regarded as one of their best prospects for the future.
The stumbling block if Liverpool are interested is Mwepu’s price-tag.
The 22-year-old is valued at £34 million by Salzburg (Salzburger Nachrichten), which could put him out of Liverpool’s price-range this summer.
