Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich wants to leave Elland Road in the January transfer window, but manager Jesse Marsch wants him to stay, according to TEAMtalk.
Mateusz Klich wants to leave Leeds United
The report has claimed that Klich wanted to leave Leeds back in the summer of 2022 after the Premier League club signed Marc Roca and Tyler Adams.
The £34,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder subsequently became a squad player at Leeds and is not part of the Poland squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
‘That has come as a source of enormous disappointment to the player’, according to TEAMtalk, who have added that Klich wants to leave Leeds in the January transfer window.
Clubs from France, Italy and Germany are interested in the 32-year-old, but Leeds head coach Marsch reportedly does not want to let him leave in the middle of the season because he wants to have a strong squad.

Elland Road exit?
In our view, Leeds United should simply let Mateusz Klich leave in the January transfer window, either on loan or on a permanent basis.
If Marsch is not going to play the 32-year-old, then there is no point in keeping him at the club against his wishes.
The Leeds no. 43 has made 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season, playing just 188 minutes.
