Julian Nagelsmann has admirers at Tottenham Hotspur, the Athletic say, as pressure builds on Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho may be under no immediate pressure of the sack at Tottenham, but it is clear to see that results must improve if he is to keep his job.
The Telegraph claimed last week that Mourinho was ‘under pressure’ with Daniel Levy noting supporters’ frustrations.
And it seems that Nagelsmann could be many at Tottenham’s pick to replace Mourinho, if he does depart.
Nagelsmann has impressed with the work he has done at RB Leipzig and would be an appointment more in the mould of Mauricio Pochettino.

Nagelsmann may not be a proven trophy winner, but his teams play stylish and innovate, high pressing football.
At 33, Nagelsmann is one of the youngest managers in the game – but his list of achievements are already impressing.
And it does appear that many of Tottenham are keeping a close eye on his work.
