Report: 32-year-old’s agent now handling Everton’s interest, although his client wants Arsenal

According to SPORT, Neto’s agent is currently dealing with interest from Everton and Arsenal, while Villarreal are also keen on the shot-stopper.

What’s the story?

Well, it seems like the 32-year-old will be leaving Barcelona.

The Brazilian wants more game time, and is fed up of being stuck behind Marc-André ter Stegen at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona want over €15m (£12.8m) for the South American, a sum that SPORT believe Villarreal have no intention of paying.

Without a doubt, that is a boost for Everton and Arsenal.

Given the riches that come with the Premier League, it is surely now a two-horse race between the Toffees and the Gunners, in our view.

However, Everton have a bit more work to do.

Neto wants to join Arsenal

In news that will disappoint Rafa Benitez, the former Valencia glovesman is keen on a move to Arsenal.
