Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Callum Wilson’s agents think that he is about to leave Bournemouth, the Chronicle suggest.

The Daily Express claimed at the weekend that Tottenham are ready to meet the £75,000-a-week wage demands that the striker has been setting.

And it seems that Wilson’s move away from Bournemouth is now edging closer to completion.

The £30 million-rated striker (Express) has been linked with a whole host of Premier League sides since Bournemouth’s relegation, but the Cherries are yet to accept any offers.

Wilson’s camp seemingly think that the transfer could move quickly though, and the England international’s time at Dean Court is now coming to an end.

Tottenham are named as a potential suitor again in the latest update in the Chronicle, but Jose Mourinho’s side do face a fight to get hold of the forward.

If Spurs were to land Wilson he could be a useful addition, as his pace would make him a big threat as an impact substitute.

But whether Wilson would be ready to accept a role as a back-up striker to Harry Kane remains to be seen, with so many clubs seemingly prepared to make him their first choice striker.
