Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Callum Wilson is now pushing for a move away from Bournemouth, the Chronicle suggest.
Tottenham are said to be willing to match Wilson’s wage demands, with Jose Mourinho very keen on bringing the forward to North London.
Wilson wants £75,000-a-week to join Tottenham, and the Daily Express claimed last week that Spurs would be willing to match those demands.
Wilson is now keen to leave Bournemouth and is apparently pushing for a move, although Newcastle are also interested.
Bournemouth are currently asking for £30 million for the rapid striker (Express), but Spurs may be hoping that asking price comes down, given the player is now apparently putting pressure on the Cherries to sanction a move.
Bournemouth were relegated last season, so Wilson’s desire to get back to a Premier League club is understandable.
If Wilson was to sign for Tottenham he would offer them a solid alternative to Harry Kane.
Wilson is far faster than Kane, and his pace could prove a valuable option for Spurs off the bench.
