Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly miss out on the signing of Nicolas Jackson to Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur target Nicolas Jackson to undergo Chelsea medical
According to AS, Chelsea will complete the signing of Villarreal striker and Tottenham Hotspur target Nicolas Jackson this week.
The 21-year-old striker has reportedly already personal terms with Chelsea and will travel to London this week to undergo a medical before signing a contract for the next five or six weeks.
Chelsea will pay Villarreal €35 million (£30 million) in transfer fees for Jackson, according to the report in the Spanish publication.

Blow for Spurs
And this will come as a blow for Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Sun on Sunday (18/6; page 62), Tottenham Hotspur are planning to make a move for the striker.
The report has claimed that former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino has personally told his Chelsea bosses to get a deal done for Jackson.
Spurs, though, are considering a bid for the young striker, according to the report, but the claim in AS suggests that the youngster is on his way to Tottenham’s London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Stats
Nicolas Jackson made 16 starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga for Villarreal last season.
The striker scored 12 goals and gave four assists in those games.
