If rumours are believed, Newcastle United have been given a slight transfer boost.
It was reported earlier in June by The Mirror that Newcastle wanted to sign Chelsea hitman Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgium international could become surplus to requirements in West London if the Blues complete a deal to sign Timo Werner.
And according to The Express, the Stamford Bridge club have made Batshuayi available to leave.
The report adds that the player could go for as much as £30 million, despite struggling in the Premier League.
Batshuayi, who originally cost £33 million, has only managed 13 goals in 59 games in England’s top flight, so it remains to be seen if Newcastle – or anyone else – stumps up that kind of money for him.
Plus, he isn’t that young anymore and he turns 27 in October, so the Magpies might be better off saving their money for somebody else.
