According to the BBC, Swansea have Wolves centre-back Ryan Bennett on their radar in case Joe Rodon completes a move to Tottenham today.
The Wales international is in Jose Mourinho’s sights, and if the north Londoners can snatch the defender from the Swans, then the 30-year-old Wolves man might leave Molineux today.
Bennett hasn’t made a first-team appearance under Nuno Espirito Santo this season, and spent the second half of last term on loan at Leicester.
He has fallen out of favour in the Midlands, and it doesn’t look like he has much of a future under Nuno if his lack of appearances this season is anything to go by.
Last term’s Europa League quarter-finalists aren’t too well-stocked in the centre-back department.

In terms of senior options, Nuno only has Willy Boly, Romain Saiss, Conor Coady and Bennett to choose from, while Max Kilman is a more youthful, inexperienced option.
Summer signing Ki-Jana Hoever can also play there, although the ex-Liverpool man is also quite inexperienced.

In that respect, allowing the Orsett-born centre-back to join Swansea today could be risky.
If Steve Cooper’s side are keen to land Wolves’ No.5, they will need to act quickly with just a handful of hours left until the deadline.
