Kenny Tete has undergone a medical at Fulham as the Lyon defender closes in on a move to Craven Cottage, according to Voetbal International.
After three years in France, the 13-time Dutch international is heading across the Channel as Scott Parker’s Cottagers look to strengthen a problematic right-back spot.
Cyrus Christie and Denis Odoi have had their fair share of doubters, even among the Fulham fanbase.
And Tete, a proven European performer who reached the Europa League final with Ajax in 2017, should represent an immediate upgrade.
Sky claimed on Tuesday the Amsterdam-born 24-year-old was closing in on a move to England. And, according to reports in his native Holland, Tete has undergone medical checks already.

It remains to be seen how much the Londoners will pay for a man who graduated with flying colours from Ajax’s famed academy.
Lyon spent £3.6 million to bring Tete to France in summer 2017.
Fulham have already strengthened on the opposite flank, with left-back Antonee Robinson (below) arriving from Wigan, while Mario Lemina, Harrison Reed and Anthony Knockaert have also signed permanent contracts at Craven Cottage.
