According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski idolises Chelsea legend Eden Hazard, and wants to follow in the Belgian’s footsteps.

What’s the story?

Well, Kulusevski has become an instant hero at Tottenham, but the Spurs fans won’t like hearing about this.

The Daily Mail believe Hazard is the reason behind the Sweden international’s love of the Premier League, and he has always admired the Chelsea icon’s technique.

Hazard rose to stardom at Stamford Bridge during his seven-year stay in west London, where he made 352 appearances for the Blues, winning two Premier League titles while scoring 110 goals.

It’s no wonder Kulusevski became a fan, although the bitter rivalry between Tottenham and Chelsea will surely mean Spurs supporters do not approve of this.

Tottenham found a gem in Dejan Kulusevski

In our view, Tottenham unearthed a diamond in the rough when Fabio Paratici signed Kulusevski.

When discussing wonderkids across Europe, people often tend to mention the likes of Jadon Sancho, Vinicius Jr and others.

For some reason, Kulusevski rarely finds himself mentioned in the same breath, which seems to have actually worked in Tottenham’s favour.

Paratici has sealed an 18-month loan deal with a €35m (£29m) obligation to buy, which is a bargain for someone as talented as the 21-year-old.

With three goals and six assists in just 11 Premier League appearances, the sky really is the limit for Kulusevski in England – he has been exceptional.

If he keeps this up, perhaps he will achieve his goal of following in Hazard’s footsteps in the Premier League, or maybe even better the 31-year-old.
