Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is open-minded about his future and could sign a new contract with Spurs or leave for Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, according to Dean Jones.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has told GiveMeSport that Kane could sign a new deal with Tottenham and extend his stay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, the 29-year-old England international striker is also open to a move away from Spurs to defending Bundesliga champions Bayern.

According to  Munchner Merkur, Bayern are keen on signing Kane next summer and have made him their priority target.

Kane told GiveMeSport: “Kane is open-minded about the future, but first and foremost, he is focused on Spurs.

“It’s certainly not out of the question that he would sign new contract with Spurs, but at the same time, there is no harm for his representatives to be in touch with other clubs like Bayern, in case that time suddenly comes when he needs a transfer.”

Bayern Munich target Harry Kane should stay at Bayern Munich

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane should stay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and should not leave for Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023.

Yes, Bayern regularly win the Bundesliga and also go far in the UEFA Champions League, but at Tottenham, Kane could do something special.

The 29-year-old striker could end up as the top scorer of the Premier League of all time if he stays at Spurs for the rest of his career.

And he is so close.

Kane has scored 189 goals and created 70 big chances in 289 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Premier League all-time top scorer Alan Shearer bagged 260 goals in 441 matches.
