Liverpool are open to selling Joel Matip as part of a clear-out in the summer, the Sunday World report.
Matip is one of four Liverpool players who Jurgen Klopp is apparently willing to listen to offers to.
The Cameroonian is up for grabs, as is Xherdan Shaqiri, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Divock Origi.
Liverpool are looking to make alterations to their squad in the summer, as it appears in need of a freshen up.
And Matip’s name is the stand out surprise on the list, given his previous importance to Liverpool’s side.
Matip has suffered badly with injury throughout his time at Anfield, and is set to miss the rest of the season.
However, when fit, he is clearly a classy operator and remains one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

As a third choice, there are very few central defenders with as much quality as Matip.
But it may be that his injury issues have just become too concerning for Klopp.
Matip simply cannot be relied upon to stay off the treatment table, and it seems that his time at Anfield could now be coming to an end.
