Will Grigg is now keen to leave Sunderland and wants a fresh start, according to the Northern Echo.
Grigg has endured a terrible spell at the Stadium of Light since joining in January 2019.
Sunderland signed Grigg to be the man to fire them to promotion, but he has failed to find his shooting boots.
Grigg has scored just five goals in 38 League One appearances for Sunderland, in what has been one of the most fallow spells of his career.
The Black Cats have now offered him out to Championship clubs and teams in the third tier.
Selling Grigg may not be the most simple task, though, as interest is likely to have dropped off after his struggles.

League One sides could find it difficult to finance a move for Grigg, while Championship clubs will surely have doubts over bringing in a player who has struggled so badly in the division below.
Sunderland are likely to have to take a sizeable loss on the Northern Irish international, after paying £3 million to sign him from Wigan Athletic.
If Sunderland do move Grigg on it is suggested that they could look to reinvest the money raised from his sale on new signings.
