Xherdan Shaqiri has shown no desire to leave Liverpool, even though Jurgen Klopp is wiling to sell him, the Independent suggest.
Shaqiri only played a minor role in Liverpool’s title success last season, as he was often overlooked.
With the Reds looking to raise funds, it has been claimed that Shaqiri is a player up for sale.
The Liverpool Echo said, back in March, that the Reds have privately indicated their willingness to sell the winger this summer, who they felt that they could raise £25 million for.
However, Liverpool’s task of offloading Shaqiri could be difficult, as he has no intention of leaving.
The Independent say that Shaqiri has not expressed any sort of desire to leave either privately or publicly.

Whether his stance changes if Liverpool accept an offer for him remains to be seen, but it could be that Shaqiri sticks around for another season.
If he does it is hard to see how the former Stoke City man will break into Liverpool’s starting line-up.
Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane dominate the forward places at Anfield, and that is likely they will continue to be the Merseyside outfit’s regular starter next term.
