Morgan Sanson has snubbed a move to Burnley, but could still be a target for Arsenal or West Ham United this summer, the Daily Mail report.

Sanson, who currently plays for Marseille, looks set to move on this summer – and Arsenal are among a host of clubs chasing him.

West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are all also said to be keen on the Frenchman.

Sanson has already rejected Burnley’s advances this summer, but could be more open to a move to another Premier League side.

With Mikel Arteta looking for a midfielder it seems that Sanson is now firmly on his radar.

The 26-year-old may not be his top choice, but Arsenal are said to be evaluating the merits of making a move.

Sanson is available for £25 million this summer, which means that he could represent a good value for money signing.

The Marseille man is comfortable on the ball, and could bolster Arsenal’s midfield ranks.

That being said, he may not quite offer the defensive discipline that Arteta was hoping for.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Thomas Partey throughout the summer, but doing a deal for the Atletico Madrid midfielder could be expensive, and Sanson may represent a cheaper alternative, if bringing in the Ghanian proves too problematic.

At West Ham, meanwhile, Sanson could be a real star – and he would give David Moyes seem enviable midfield options.

If West Ham could use Sanson in a trio with Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice then they would have some real quality in the middle of the pitch, and that may help to ensure that they are well away from the relegation battle next time around.
